Lemke Shines at the Plate in Colorado Springs CageRat Victory Over Gameday Angels
Matt Lemke, a Kansas State outfielder, had a busy day at the plate Tuesday, smacking four hits in the CageRats 14-4 victory over the Gameday Angels. He doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and homered in the seventh. He also scored four runs while driving in three from the cleanup spot.
Braedyn Cunningham, a University of Houston righthander, pitched the CageRats to victory in a strong six innings of work. He gave up four hits and three runs, while striking out nine Angels hitters. Lane Harris threw two innings in relief by recording the last six outs and earning the save.
