Ryota Kusumoto Drives In Five As Liberal Bee Jays Wins Over Rough Riders

Ryota Kusumoto would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Wednesday, driving in five on three hits to lead the BeeJays past the RoughRiders 20-1 on Wednesday. Kusumoto drove in runs on a walk in the second, a double in the third, a single in the fourth, and a triple in the fifth.

Davin Ronquist was the winning pitcher for the BeeJays. The hurler surrendered one run on one hit over three innings, striking out three and walking one. Kage Ralstin and Hunter Phillips entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
