Liberal fired up the offense in the first inning, when Walker Polk tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. The Bee Jays notched four runs in the eighth inning to close out the 10 run win.

John JT Peloquin started on the mound for Denver. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out eight. Augustine Sanchez threw one and two-thirds innings in relief, giving up six runs on seven hits.
